Before you begin any project, your remodeling specialist needs to understand your unique style and respect your budget. Before we start any work with our clients, we want to get to know you better. That’s why your first meeting with us is complimentary. We use it as a way to better understand your goals and the characteristics of your space so we can confidently navigate the ins and outs of the remodeling process. In meeting, we’ll also share our expertise in material selections, knowledge of current design trends, understanding of important project considerations like budgeting and construction planning, and more.

Design
Once we explore the exploration phase, we’ll sign an Initial Planning Agreement, measure your space, and sketch different floor plans for the space. You’ll be able to review two to three design concepts that show a variety of floor plans, elevations and 3D drawings, where applicable. We’ll also define general budgeting scenarios and start the materials selections process for the space from one of our design studios in Alexandria, Rockville or Chantilly.

Refine
Once the design concept is finalized, we’ll capture the project’s details like design finishes, material selection and construction requirements in the Construction Documents contract and sign the contract. You’ll also meet your Project Manager and talk about the next steps of the project during the onsite project review.

Build
At this stage, the remodeling process begins. Our Project Manager will maintain close communication with your throughout the build, and you’ll stay up-to-date on the various steps in the project as they happen (such as plumbing installations and the arrival and departure of work crews).
