Can I see the full slab before choosing?
Yes. GBC’s showrooms carry full slabs alongside samples, so you can judge the actual pattern and movement of a natural stone rather than choosing from a small chip.
What drives countertop cost?
Material, surface area and fabrication detail. The stone you choose, the edge profile, mitered island or waterfall edges, cutouts for sinks and outlets, and backsplash integration all factor in. Your proposal carries a clear countertop allowance so the inclusions stay visible.
Does GBC fabricate and install, or only supply the stone?
Both. GBC handles precise measurement, fabrication and installation, so one team is responsible from template through final fit.
What edge profiles are available?
Custom edge profiles, including mitered island edges and waterfall edges. The same fabrication also covers fireplace surrounds, bench tops and bar tops.
Does GBC handle sink cutouts and backsplash integration?
Yes. Undermount sink cutouts, outlet cutouts and backsplash integration are part of fabrication, and GBC supplies stainless steel sinks as well as farmhouse sinks in fireclay or steel.
